We are a team of highly professional and reliable therapists coming from different backgrounds who at one point needed a change from our previous careers.

Each of us took a leap of faith to formally learn massage and now we are very thankful to be able to pay it forward to empower more people through the power of touch.

Mandara is a mobile massage service company based in Sydney and soon will be rolling out across Australia.

Mandara offers quality customised massage services to corporate companies through our pool of professional massage therapists.

All you have to do is to let us know your requirements by filling out our REQUEST A QUOTE form or our CONTACT US form and we shall get back to you with our best massage service recommendation based on your requirements and of course match you with the best massage therapist as well.

YOU'RE NOT IN MY CITY...CAN I STILL MAKE A BOOKING?

If your area is not on the list, feel free to ask us about it and we will try to match you with the nearest qualified theraist in your area. If we have alternative options such as change in date and time, we will include that in our recommendation as well.

ARE ALL YOUR THERAPISTS TRAINED AND VETTED?

We’re are very particular about our vetting process and the massage therapists we accept to join our team.

Our vetting process include

qualification, insurance and police checks,
phone-screening,
face-to-face interview,
practical demonstration,
and in-person onboarding.

We interview each therapist in person and make sure they meet the ‘Mandara standards’ to provide you with the best massage experience.

In addition to our requirements stated above, we make sure that all our therapists share the same values we uphold which is P.R.I.D.E.
This stands for professionalism, reliability, intuiveness, discipline, and empathy.

Once a therapist gets onboarded, we then use our rating & review system to ensure we maintain the highest level of service quality. We highly encourage clients to give their therapist a review after every massage session completed so we can always be on our feet in terms of maintaining our high service standards.

WHAT TIMES CAN I BOOK A MASSAGE?

We operate from 7am to midnight, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

DO YOU DO LAST MINUTE APPOINTMENTS?

We accept last minute appointments and we will try to match you with the best available therapist at the time of the booking.

In saying that, there is no guarantee as all our therapists are always in demand and not on standby waiting for jobs. The best we can do is give you an alternative time and date if this happens.

CAN I CHOOSE/REQUEST MY THERAPIST?

Yes we highly recommend you choose the therapist that fits your massage needs. If you are planning to get regular massages with your preferred therapist, we can arrange for you as well by asking the therapist availability and if he/she is OK to such arrangement.

CAN I USE MY HEALTH FUND WHEN I BOOK MY MASSAGE?

Yes you surely can. Just a quick note that you have to specify this at the time of your booking as not all our therapists offer health fund rebates.

It is also best to check with your health service provider if the massage service you are interested to book is actually covered as different companies have their own list of modalities they can only cover.

DO YOU HAVE HICAPS MACHINE?

Some therapists will have their own HICAPS machine available but most of them don’t. What you can expect is they will bring a receipt for you to use to claim back as proof with your health service provider. With this, you are expected to pay the full amount when you book a massage and claim it afterwards.

WHAT ARE THE PAYMENT MODES THAT YOU OFFER?

You can pay via:

Debit or Credit Card through our secure payment gateway. We use PAYPAL to do this to add another layer of protection for you. No need to have Paypal account as you will be given instructions during the payment process.

We also accept direct bank transfer if this will be easier for you. We just need a screenshot of the payment receipt to be sent through us via email so we can confirm your booking and voila everything will be good to go.

 

WHAT IS MANDARA'S CANCELLATION AND RESCHEDULING POLICY?

We understand that plans can change, so if you need to cancel or amend your confirmed appointment, you can do so within 1-hour after placing your booking request, or up to 36 hours before your massage is scheduled to begin with no penalty.

  • For any cancellation or rescheduling that takes place between 24 hours & 4 hours prior to the scheduled massage time, we charge 50% of the total.
  • For any cancellation or rescheduling that takes place less than 12 hours prior to the scheduled massage time, we charge 100% of the total.
  • Cancellations fee only applies to bookings that have been confirmed. If your therapist hasn’t been confirmed yet, we don’t charge your card and you don’t incur any fees.

If you’re running late to a scheduled appointment, we allow 15 minutes for your arrival. If you still haven’t shown up after 15min, we leave and consider the booking as a no-show.

We put this cancellation and rescheduling policy in place to protect our therapists, as they lose income when cancellations or amendments to booking schedules occur, and need to receive compensation for time they have set aside for you.

WHAT DO I EXPECT AFTER BOOKING YOUR SERVICE?

We will be sending you an email confirmation of your booking including the therapist that has been assigned to do the job.

You will be receiving an email reminder 36 hrs prior to the time of your booking.

DO I NEED TO PREPARE ANYTHING BEFORE THE THERAPIST ARRIVES?

All you have to do is be there at least 15mins before your start time to welcome our therapist so he/she can setup ahead and start on time.

Provide enough space (at least 90cm on all sides) for the therapist to setup the bed and move around during the massage. It is best to choose a spot/space where it is clean, well ventilated, and not much noise.

HOW MUCH TIME SHOULD I ALLOW FOR MY APPOINTMENT?

You should allow 15 mins before and after the massage session. This allows the therapist to setup on time before the massage and get to chat with you to know more about what’s the best approach to do to make sure you have a great massage experience. After the massage, the therapist will be able to chat with you again and make hs/her post massage recommendations and if you have any questions, this is the best time to ask as well.

HOW MUCH SPACE DOES THE THERAPIST NEED?

WHAT DO I WEAR DURING MY MASSAGE?

We generally recommend all our clients to wear loose comfortable clothing that is easy to undress and put back on. We perform our dry massages such as in corporate massage settings with clothes on, while we ask our clients to strip down to their undies if it is a home or in studio massage involving oil. We understand that in some cultures, you are comfortable to be nude during the massage. But we have instructed all our therapists to not allow this as a precaution for any future complaint that could happen because of this. They have the right to not push through with the massage if the client insists otherwise.

CAN MY THERAPIST CUSTOMIZE MY MASSAGE?

Yes most definitely. We encourage all our therapists to customise their massages according to the clients’ needs as everybody has their owns niggles and chronic pains.

This is one of our eays of making sure you have a great massage experience with us.

I AM LOVING MY MASSAGE, I WISH IT NEVER ENDED! CAN I EXTEND?

Yes certainly. Most times…60mins massages are not enough so feel free to extend by booking in through the website like you did before.

We don’t recommend you paying cash to your therapist because we cannot guarantee anything for you if something goes wrong.

HOW DO I GIVE A REVIEW ABOUT MY THERAPIST?

We will be sending you an email to check on how everything went and get your feedback too. This is the best time to give your therapist a review or testimonial.

Otherwise, you can also give us a review through google.

DO I NEED TO TIP MY THERAPIST?

We know that it is not customary here in Australia to give tips but this will be a great way to show your appreciation to your therapist for a job well done.

CAN I REBOOK MY THERAPIST?

Yes we encourage you to rebook the therapist that you like so you can always have a great massage experience each time.

If the therapist is not available, we will also let you know and suggest alternative dates and times that will suit both of you.

CAN I BOOK DIRECTLY WITH THE THERAPIST?

We don’t encourage this as we cannot guarantee anything for you if things go south.

At the same time, we are aware that booking directly with your therapist is inevitable. We just advise to be careful and assess the risk.

DO I NEED TO PROVIDE PARKING FOR THE THERAPIST?

If you can, that would be great as our therapists manually carry their massage equipment. If there is no parking available for them, please do let us knwo as well so we can give them a heads up and they can plan ahead of time.

DO YOU SEND TWO MOBILE MASSAGE THERAPISTS FOR A COUPLES MASSAGE?

We usually send 2 therapists to do couples massage. We are also open to doing back to back massages if it works better.

DO YOU CATER TO GROUP BOOKINGS SUCH AS PAMPER PARTIES OR SPECIAL OCCASSIONS?

Yes we love to cater to group bookings as it always creates a more relaxed atmosphere for our clients. Let us know what you have in mind, how many people you’re expecting and how much time you have for the day.

DO YOU CATER TO CORPORATE MASSAGE REQUIRMENTS SUCH AS IN OFFICES, EVENTS, CONFERENCES, FESTIVALS?

Yes most of the therapists in our team are experienced in doing corporate massages so you can definitely count on us with these requirements.

DO YOU MASSAGE IN HOTELS, SERVICE APARTMENTS, OR AIRBNB?

Yes we do. We will bring the massage to you wherever you are and we’ll always make sure the whole experience is a breeze from start to finish.

I DON'T HAVE MY OWN PLACE, CAN I GO TO YOUR CLINIC OR SHOP?

Most of the therapists in our team either have their own massage studio or work in clinics during the week so you can book in with us and we will arrange the rest for you.
